Welcome to Phoenix School's homepage. Phoenix School is an early years (K-5) school in Headingley, Manitoba.
Phoenix School is a small, rural, caring community with high interest in student achievement and values. Parents work in a close partnership to enhance all aspects of school life. Phoenix School offers early literacy, French club, art club, choral program, outdoor ed., intramurals, character education and an integrated arts program along with a variety of extra-curricular activities.
Philosophy
The team at Phoenix School aims to nurture the whole child and to provide a safe environment:
- where each student is encouraged to attain his/her optimum potential;
- where teachers collaborate to provide child-centred activity based learning that is consistent, stimulating and accommodates different learning styles;
- where students take responsibility for their own learning; and
- where continuous communication between home and school is maintained.
