Phoenix has a dedicated and experienced staff, an active Parent Council, and a learning community of caring and committed families.The Phoenix staff aims to nurture the whole child and to provide a safe, caring, and challenging educational environment that promotes learning and achievement for all students. In the 2013-2014 school year each St. James-Assiniboia School Division Middle Years (Grade 6-8) student will be receiving a tablet computer. "Welcome to Kindergarten" 2013 - 2014
Invitations to the "Welcome to Kindergarten" session being held on May 30, 2013 @ 6:00 p.m. have been mailed out to those families that have registered their child for this fall's Kindergarten class at Phoenix School.
Our new kindergarten students and their family are invited to take part in a variety of learning centres at the school. Students will have an opportunity to meet one another and the Kindergarten teacher. Families will also receive a 'Welcome to Kindergarten' bag to take home containing magnetic letters and numbers, books, crayons, scissors, paper, glue, playdough and more!
 Kindergarten Registration
If you have not already registered your child for Kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year, please be sure to submit your child's registration form at your earliest convenience. The school office is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday. If you are unable to drop off your child's registration form during school hours, please email Mrs. White at lwhite@sjsd.net to make alternate arrangements.

- Manitoba Health Card
- Proof of Residency

Regular dismissal time is 3:00 p.m. and early dismissal is 2:22 p.m.
